This term we have started learning about factors. Factors are 2 numbers that if you times them together you will get a number. If you have a prime number you can only times it by its self and 1 meaning you only have 1 factor. Some prime numbers are 1, 2, 3, 5, 7. If you have a composite number it is a number that you can have lots of numbers to times by to get that number ie; 4, 6, 8, 9, 10.
Yesterday we had a visit from the mayor. This is because in inquiry at the moment we have our own country to run so we were asking him some questions about his job and the political side of things. He answered our questions and showed us his gold chain which some kids got to wear. The gold chain is a symbol that he is mayor, he wears it to formal things. He wears special robes to formal things as well, but unfortunately he could not bring them.
